The magnificent apartment is your perfect home away from home. ThIs elegant studio apartment is located on the third floor of the Alfama Alma Mater building that perfectly fits into the neighbourhood. It has been carefully equipped and decorated with an eye for every detail.
The light of Lisbon floods the apartment and all the windows offer superb views: from the kitchen side you can see the roofs of Alfama and the huge river estuary. On the other side of the apartment you can watch the E28 and catch a glimpse of the Sao Vicente monastery (located only a few walking minutes from the apartment). The studio consists of an open space living and bedroom with integrated kitchenette and a separated modern bathroom with a shower. Once again, we bet on a combination of contemporary design and traditional elements like the Lioz marble (entirely made of fossils) for the bathroom, and the original portuguese tiles of the XVII century; we also restored the antique bed.
And because we support local artists, we added a touch of contemporary art with the unique pieces of Paulo Arraiano (http://www.pauloarraiano.com/).
If you book this apartment, you'll find yourself within the center of Alfama, likely the foremost popular quarter of the city and protected UNESCO World Legacy Location. You can easily visit the city on foot from the flat, either reaching several interesting spots, or getting lost between the old buildings, little squares, narrow labyrinthic streets of this traditional neighborhood, full of restaurants, cafés, small shops and unique views.
The famous tram E28 which travels adventurously travels uphill and downhill for most of the city old center, can be taken just a few meters from your door.
The metro and train station Santa Apolonia is also easy reachable on foot within minutes.

To get your discount you have to introduce the promo code before completing the payment.
One-time cleaning fee: 2 persons 40.00 EUR. Towels and bed-linen are provided. Electricity, gas and water are included.
Check-in time is from 3 pm to 10 pm.
Early check-in (11am to 3pm): on request we can receive you before 3pm, as soon as the apartment is available. You can drop your luggage and get the keys, and the staff will finish the cleaning until 3pm.
Late check-in: after 10 pm, we can still arrange the check-in for an extra fee of 25€ to be paid on arrival.
The check-out time is until 11 a.m.
For longer stays and on request we can provide an apartment cleaning and new tools and bed-linen for the price of 35.00 EUR.
As of January 1st 2016 a tourist tax charged by Lisbon City Council becomes payable upon arrival. It is 2.00 EUR per person (over the age of 13) per night, up to a maximum of 14.00 EUR.
Cancellation policy:
Full refund for cancellations up to 15 days before scheduled arrival.
50% refund for cancellations 15 to 7 days before scheduled arrival.
No refund for cancellations less than 7 days before scheduled arrival.
